The Association of Credit Rating Agencies in Asia (ACRAA), founded on September 14, 2001, organized a one-day annual meeting on December 1st, 2023, in Bangkok (Thailand). ACRAA is driven by the vision to establish itself as a leading regional institution in Asia, upholding the highest standards of credit rating practices. It aims to establish a collaborative framework for a strong investment information infrastructure that promotes both local and regional investment flows, with a particular focus on the Asian bond market.
The meeting centered on the role of Credit Rating Agencies (CRAs) in the near future and ACRAA's recommendations. The agenda featured a CEOs' roundtable, followed by the annual meeting. Shri Suraj Pratap Malik, Director on the Board of Infomerics Ratings Pvt Ltd, participated in the event. Key discussions included the committee’s annual reports, the Secretary General’s report, audited financial statements for the fiscal year ending October 31st, 2023, and the election of a new Board of Directors for a two-year term. The meeting concluded with the Board’s organizational meeting.
