The Association of Credit Rating Agencies in Asia (ACRAA), founded on September 14, 2001, organized its Annual Meeting on 6th December 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Key discussions in the annual meeting included the committee’s annual reports, the Secretary General’s report, audited financial statements for the fiscal period ending 31st October 2024, and proposed activities for 2025. On the sideline of the meeting a conference was organised on the theme of “Capital Market Development initiatives in Asia”. It brought together the views of credit raters from Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, China and India. Shri Suraj Pratap Malik, Director on the Board of Infomerics Rating Pvt Ltd, participated in the event.
ACRAA is driven by the vision to establish itself as a leading regional institution in Asia, upholding the highest standards of credit rating practices. It aims to establish a collaborative framework for a strong investment information infrastructure that promotes both local and regional investment flows, with a particular focus on the Asian bond market.
